Gregory Walker (born August 31, 1979 in Richmond, Virginia) is an Abstract and Contemporary Artist. After experiencing war as an Airborne Ranger, he now lives a peaceful life as an artist. "I have discovered that my God given talent in Art is a great way to express what I have been through. I have been painting since I was very young and have been inspired by Artists with studios on both sides of my family. My work is filled with love, passion, and pain. It’s a marbled smear of form and passion. that makes sense out of a chaos of color using depth, balance, and flair. The emotions of my experience bring it together to form a beautiful and powerful statement." Greg is self and family taught emerging with his own unique styles and techniques. He paints on Birch wood with mixed medias and oil on canvas. Greg often travels internationally as a way of expanding his experience through foreign artists. Greg spends most of his time away in Barcelona, Spain studying European culture and art. "True wisdom and knowledge comes from being worldly." Greg randomly has art shows on both the West and East coasts of the United States but, his art can be seen regularly at his Studio located in Charlotte, North Carolina.
