Fans of anime/manga rejoice: Tonight, the Charlotte-based art collective God City is hosting an exhibition influenced by the funky, fantastic and kinetic images found in Japanese animation and comic books. Titled Neo Tokyo and housed at the Black Sheep Skate Shop, the show promises to display painted interpretations of robots, gundams and more. Hey, maybe there’ll even be some cosplay! OK, maybe not.
