drumSTRONG returns May 16-17

Once again, DrumsForCures will be holding its third annual ¡BEAT cancer! Drum-A-Thon and cancer resource health fair, better known as drumSTRONG '09, on May 16 and 17.

The event, which benefits local cancer charities, happens rain or shine from Saturday at noon until Sunday at 5 p.m. at Misty Meadows Farm in Weddington. Registration -- $25 for individuals and $50 for families -- and more information is available at www.drumstrong.org.
